Frequently asked questions
It all began with a simple idea fuelled by a deep passion. As a small business, I pride myself on personal attention and dedication to every detail. My approach is rooted in quality and integrity, ensuring that everything I do reflects my commitment to excellence - To A T.
Do I need a patch test? I've had lash and brow treatments before.
Yes patch testing is mandatory! you need a patch test whether your having extensions, lash lift & tint or just a tint alone.
Every beautician uses different products I.e. glues, gels, creams. Its best to check to avoid reactions and to keep yourself comfortable.
Patch tests are required for beautician's, as without we are not insured!
How long before a treatment do I need a patch test?
The patch test should be preformed at least 48hours prior to treatment, this allows enough time for any reactions to occur. A small dot of tint and/or lift product will be placed on the inner arm area or behind the ear. For extensions the patch test will consist of placing a few subtle extensions on your natural lashes.
Reactions can be anything from itching, redness, to swelling so keep a good eye on the tested area.
What happens if I have a reaction?
If a reaction occurs then treatment can not go ahead, my goal is to keep all my clients happy and comfortable.
I am unsure of what treatment to have.
Ultimately the decision is for my clients to make.
During any patch tests , I carry out a consultation where I will advise suitability, desired styles, shapes and lengths. I explain the procedure fully so you leave with confidence and knowledge of which treatment is best.
Do lash treatments damage your natural lashes?
No. I have had specialist training through the beauty guild to carry out all treatment's to a professional, high standard.
Following aftercare correctly will also help to not damage any natural lashes.
Do I have to book an appointment?
It is best to book an appointment to avoid any disappointment.
Please keep to your allotted booking slot as there will be a cancellation fee of 50% of your total treatment price for missed appointments.
There are many ways to book so get in touch via telephone, message, email or drop me a message on Facebook and Instagram, where you can also find salon opening times.
Can I have eye treatments if I wear contact lenses?
Yes you can! contact lenses and glasses will have to be removed for the duration of the treatment but after you can wear them as normal.
Do I have a choice of colour tint for my eyelashes and brows?
yes you do, a colour to match your natural hair colour, or your desired colour can be mixed for you.
Most clients like dark lashes so its recommended a dark to black tint to be used.
